CAPE CORAL, MARCH 22 – Hopefully, by now, everyone in Cape Coral knows that one of our own is running for the congressional seat being vacated by Porter Goss. We should all take pride in knowing that District 14 has a legitimate Cape Coral Democratic contender to go up against the likes of Mack, Green and Coy.

Robert Neeld has taken up the challenge to to represent us, the citizens of Cape Coral and the Democratic Party of District 14. Mr. Neeld has a proven record and commitment to public service. He has served on numerous advisory boards and citizen panels and is a member of the Cape Coral Democrat Club.

He has run for local office in the past on the self-instilled belief that it just isn't right for Republicans to constantly run unopposed.

He is a local person (Riverdale Class of '73) who runs a local accounting firm in town.
